Who we Are
Rich Ranciato
Richard is a tenured and respected member of the insurance community for over three decades. His experience and skills were honed the old fashion way. He started at the bottom, as a teenager, and worked his way up through the various tasks of adjusting before he was ever licensed as an adjuster. Complimenting his experience in a family run adjusting firm, Richard was required to work with various contractors to gain the advantage of insight into the various trades and components of building construction techniques. This allowed him to understand the correct methodologies to effectively protect his future clients in the repair of their damaged property.
Along the way, Richard established himself as a compassionate and savvy adjuster who believed in establishing in-roads to success, rather than burning bridges. He has spent years building good will within the community by helping people, even when he wasn’t charging them for his services. His management style and philosophy of treating clients as if they were family members has served him well over the years. He is now highly respected by his clients, peers, and adversaries as a result of his astute handling of millions of dollars in claims on behalf of policyholders. His breadth of knowledge includes claims of all types involving residential and commercial properties. He routinely interacts with attorneys, accountants, engineers, and other insurance professionals on behalf of his clients with outstanding success.
On a personal level, Richard has always been family oriented and stayed actively involved over the years in Coaching multiple sports and has been involved with many Executive Boards including VP of Football Operations for the Shoreline Youth Football League. He has held positions on the Executive Board of the Irish American Community Center including VP and Coached for New Haven Gaelic Football and Hurling Club also serving as their Youth Officer. He has generously contributed and participated in numerous fundraising drives and events.
